Abacus’ team at Chapman University has finished the remodeling of the North Olive Apartments, a 5-unit apartment building located south of Chapman’s Law School Building. It was successfully finished in four weeks and under the established budget.
The project included exterior improvements, as well as demolitions of finish flooring, kitchen cabinetry and bathrooms. Every unit was remodeled to add new HVAC systems, a new kitchen and bathroom with new appliances, new carpet throughout and new VCT (Vinyl Composite Tile) within the kitchens and bathrooms. It also included the renovation of five garage spaces, the installation of cable and wired Campus internet connection for each apartment, and new landscaping with an irrigation system. As part of the project, a gated path directly entering to the Campus was also created.
Over the last ten years, Abacus has been the Program Manager for Chapman University and has completed a variety of projects totaling over $400M. These projects include the construction or renovation of sports facilities, classroom and residential buildings, landscaping projects and site improvements, among others.
